For how long can store my DeckMAX products?

For optimal performance, an unopened DeckMAX Revitalizer can be stored as directed for up to 18 months. Opened DeckMAX Revitalizing products can be stored for up to 12 months. Opened wipes should be used within 6 months.

How should DeckMAX products be stored?

For best performance, store in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not freeze.

What are the shipping costs?

Shipping is a flat rate charge of $13.95 for the contiguous 48 United States. Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and International UPS/USPS list rates apply. Please note that out-of-state orders will not be charged sales tax and in-state (PA) orders will be charged 6% sales tax. Do you have a product for cleaning and conditioning my wood composite deck?

Our DeckMAX Wood & Composite Cleaner is now available and will remove mold and mildew from wood and composite decking. We do not currently have a revitalizer for wood and composite decking so this product will clean but will not rejuvenate the color.

How long will DeckMAX last?

It varies depending on where you live, humidity and sun exposure. We recommend applying DeckMAX as often as you like to maintain your decks’ optimum beauty.

Is DeckMAX a paint or a stain?

No. It is a plant-based product that penetrates, cleans and revitalizes your deck.

How does DeckMAX Work?

DeckMAX cleans, penetrates, and then revitalizes. DeckMAX Revitalizer is not a paint or stain.

Are DeckMAX products safe for the environment?

Yes. DeckMAX Professional grade Cleaner Concentrate is an environmentally friendly product made with sustainable technology. DeckMAX E2 is a safe and environmentally responsible product. Please remember to keep children and pets off the deck while wet.

Is DeckMAX safe for children/pets?

Once DeckMAX dry, it is safe to resume all normal activity on your deck. Keep children and pets off the deck while DeckMAX is wet.

Shouuld I use eye and hand protection when applying DeckMAX products?

Yes. As with many other common household cleaners, it is good practice to use non PVC coated rubber gloves and eye protection for your safety.

Why did my deck fade?

All decking products, natural and manmade will experience weathering. Contributing factors to weathering include the environment, moisture, sunlight, heat, time and other variables which may vary by region or geography. Normal weathering is an aesthetic issue and not a performance or product warranty issue, nor considered a material defect.

Why does my deck look spotty or streaky after application?

Moisture on the deck can cause a spotty/streaky effect. Allow deck to dry completely and simply reapply DeckMAX.

Will DeckMAX ruin my landscaping or grass?

Although small drips or sprays should not damage grass or landscaping, large spills on plants and/or grass could result in damage. We recommend covering any ornamental plants, lawn furniture, fish ponds, etc., and keeping children and pets off of deck while it is still wet.

What do I do if DeckMAX spills on another surface other than my vinyl PVC deck?

Wipe up as much as possible immediately and let evaporate. DeckMAX will temporarily restore the color of nonvinyl PVC surfaces such as concrete, masonry, wood, driveways, siding, etc.

Do I need to protect areas adjoining my deck?

DeckMAX will temporarily restore the color and luster of a variety of surfaces, therefore use caution while applying near surfaces such as siding, pavers, cement, railings, step risers, etc. Although drips and small amounts of DeckMAX will not harm plant life, large spills will damage/kill plants or grass. Therefore, we recommend covering any ornamental plants, lawn furniture, fish ponds, etc. Keep children and pets off of deck while it is still wet. What are the best weather conditions for applying DeckMAX?

How long does DeckMAX take to dry?

Depending on the air temperature and the humidity, DeckMAX E2 should dry to the touch in a few minutes. However, allow at least 24 hours to replace furniture and resume normal activity.

Do DeckMAX products my stubborn suntan lotion/grease stains?

Yes. However, any excessive grease buildup should be cleaned with your deck manufacturer’s recommended degreaser or DeckMAX Professional Grade Cleaner Concentrate prior to applying DeckMAX® to your vinyl PVC deck. Thoroughly rinse cleaner to make sure there is no cleaner residue.

Do DeckMAX Revitalizers remove rust stains?

Yes. Most rust stains can be removed. However, for hard to remove rust stains apply DeckMAX to loosen the rust, allow it to penetrate for a few seconds and then gently brush with a light-duty stainless steel brush.

How do I prepare to rejuvenate my deck with DeckMAX E2?

For vinyl PVC decks we recommend our DeckMAX Professional Grade Cleaner Concentrate which makes up to 6 gallons of powerful cleaner. With any cleaner ensure that you remove all cleaner residue before applying DeckMAX Products. Please be sure to follow your deck manufacturer’s cleaning specifications.

DeckMAX E2 PVC Revitalizer should be applied to a clean and dry surface.

How long does DeckMAX take to apply?

The average 500 square foot deck should take approximately 1-2 hours once the surface is cleaned and dry. Our vinyl PVC/metal wipes make it easy and fast to restore your outdoor surfaces.

What is cellular PVC or vinyl decking and how is it different from composite decking?

Cellular PVC decking was formerly considered Composite decking. In most cases, PVC is a much higher-end product than standard Composite decking. Composite decking now is made up mostly of cellulosic (wood dust) material and polypropylene or other recycled plastics.DeckMAX E2 PVC Revitalizer was developed for PVC decking and will not bring back the color of faded polypropylene or other recycled plastics.
Please consult with your decking manufacturer to determine the make-up of your deck and to see if DeckMAX E2 PVC Revitalizer is right for use on your decking material.

Note:DeckMAX E2 PVC Revitalizer is not designed for wood decks! It has been exclusively and specially formulated for decks consisting primarily of vinyl plastic.

How often should I apply DeckMAX Revitalizers to my deck?

As often as you like to maintain your vinyl PVC decks’ optimum beauty. Typically our customers use DeckMAX® Revitalizers as their yearly seasonal cleaning and maintenance process. DeckMAX® E2 provides superior UV protection from the harsh weather conditions.
